The Marketing Department of Londou Trading Ltd consists of experienced and dynamic personnel which have as their primary objectives the building of strong brands through the best possible marketing strategy and the support of the Retail and Food Service Divisions.

With the development, implementation and control of marketing plans, communication strategies, advertising and promotional activities; the marketing personnel is responsible for the safeguard of each brand’s strategy.

Our brands forward planning is crucial, we efficiently work within set budgets as
our targets are forecasted well in advance to ensure strategic planning for the short,
mid and long terms.

Over the years, we’ve managed to keep ahead of the market and stay on top of new consumer habits by having a deep understanding of the market. We constantly monitor our competition as well as study for new avenues for opportunity in order to be able to progress. Our knowledge of the market dynamics and in depth knowledge of the Cyprus market helps us achieve this.

The foodstuffs Cyprus market is considerably small and is loaded with thousands of well known products. Thus heavy advertisement is needed in order to obtain market share. – LONDOU TRADING LTD SALES FORCE ENSURASES A WEIGHTED MARKET –

Londou Trading Ltd sales force ensures a weighted market coverage level of 85% – 90%. It also calls directly on the vast majority of its customers in order to ensure Optimum Customer Service. Each sales representative is responsible for a small number of customers. This is considered among the lowest ratios of customers per salesman in Cyprus and enables a high frequency of visits.

At present, our Sales Department consists of 28 persons covering sales nation-wide. This team is headed by a General Sales Manager, a Key Accounts Manager and by three experienced and qualified Area Sales Managers that control and support the daily routes of the salesmen and merchandisers, whilst coordinating deliveries. Optimization of routes and obtaining new customers are part of their duties as well.

More than 24 Londou Trading Ltd Sales and delivery vehicles are on the road day after day, visiting the various retail outlets all over Cyprus. More specifically bi-weekly visits to hypermarkets, weekly visits to big supermarkets, weekly visits to larger grocers, visits every 2 weeks to kiosks and various smaller outlets, amounting to 2000 visits per month. In addition Londou Trading Ltd sales force ensures for the best location and proper product display for each product line is used.

The performance of the sales team ensures relationships with customers that are second to none; they also enhanced order volumes and managed to present new products and promotions successfully.

Merchandising

THE MERCHANDISING TEAM VISITS ALL KEY ACCOUNTS ACCORDING TO ITS PROGRAM

Our merchandising force ensures that all of the goods that are delivered to the point of sales are effectively merchandised according to a planogram. Through the merchandising teams’ excellent relationship with local customer depot managers and assistants, they obtain excellent display positions of our products.

Our team also ensures that the products are rotating constantly F.I.F.O. and that under no circumstance are there any expired products on the shelves. In addition, by doing price checking they ensure that the products are correctly priced and by doing stock checking they ensure that there is always enough stock on the shelves.

Warehouse

Our Logistics Department is equipped by the latest technology systems in stock control and invoicing

The company’s central warehouse with more than 2,000 square meters of warehouse space is located in Aradippou industrial area, which is an excellent geographical location for distribution across the island. There is also one smaller warehouse in Limassol and one in Nicosia.

Distribution

Londou Trading Ltd is traditionally proud for its extremely powerful distribution network, and definitely one of the best in Cyprus.

Distribution is undertaken by the company’s owned vehicles on a weekly basis. The level of distribution in all channels lies between 85% – 90%. These clients are directly serviced via our modern fleet of delivery vehicles which include vans and minivans.
