Qualification Requirements:
  • BS degree in accounting or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in accounting or Professional Accounting Certifications (ACCA/ACA/CPA) will be considered an advantage.
  • 5+ years’ work experience in a similar role with a proven track record of leadership and management within an accounting department.
  • Previous experience in FMCG industry will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of the accounting software ¨SAP Business One” will be considered as an additional advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to apply judgment, business acumen, and diligence when carrying out work tasks.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update accounting records and bookkeeping in line with Cyprus legislation and international accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor budgets, and daily financial transactions.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Manage VAT, tax, and social insurance submissions.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance metrics to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Responsible for the preparation of payments and the execution of bank payments to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.
  • Actively involved in the annual audit process.
  • Handle payroll and employee-related payments.
  • Create accounting strategies to maximize profits.
  • Work with senior management on financial strategy development.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient and organized filing system to ensure seamless access to important financial documents.
  • Be able to manage the accounting team.
  • Build, recruit, and train a growing accounting team as the company scales.
  • Supporting the department with other accounting tasks to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Uphold the excellent reputation of our firm.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve shared goals.
  • Report directly to the Managing Director.

  • Digital marketing certifications (Certified Digital Marketing Professional, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Blueprint) will be considered an advantage.
  • 5+ years’ proven work experience in digital marketing focused role.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with various social media platforms, Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, LinkedIn, SEO, and SEM techniques, PPC, website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Experience setting up and optimizing paid search campaigns to meet
    campaign objectives (Google Ads – Search, Display, Video, App, Remarketing, and Paid Social – FB for Business, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Experience in utilizing analytics tools to analyze online marketing campaigns in order to improve ROI.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.

  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.

  • Ability to work under pressure and engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
