A.G. Barr plc, is a Scottish leading independent soft drink and energy drink manufacturer based in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, Scotland, widely known for manufacturing the drink Irn-Bru.

The company established in 1875 as an aerated waters business by the Barr family
and it quickly became a successful soft drinks manufacturer providing a wide range of soft drinks to the people of Scotland.

The business has grown during its 145 years in both size and scale, adding new brands to the portfolio and extending its operational footprint beyond Scotland. Currently the company operates across the UK and Internationally in over 50 countries, and offer a diverse and differentiated portfolio of great tasting brands. Employing almost 900 people across 9 UK locations.

In 1965 the business was floated on the London Stock Exchange and is
now a publicly owned FTSE business.
